AoC Sport National Championships 2017

Jack Cooper has qualified to represent King Edward VI College and the region at the AoC Sport National Championships 2017, which take place next month. The squash athlete fought off stiff competition from colleges across the West Midlands to win gold, which qualifies him for the national finals taking place at the University of Nottingham in April.
The AoC Sport National Championships will see the team competing against athletes from colleges across England and Wales. As well as individual glory, teams will be aiming to accumulate points for their region and win the prestigious Wilkinson Sword trophy.  Jack commented: ‘I qualified and attended last year’s National Championships which was fantastic and I gained invaluable experience. This will hopefully allow me to compete at a higher level at this year’s championships and win the squash competition.  Eat, Sleep, Squash, Repeat’.
