Job Sector Information

Deciding on a career can be one of the most difficult decisions you can make at any age but being aware and completing research on what is available can open your eyes to possibilities you may have never been aware of.

At King Edward VI Sixth Form College, we have we have created six pathways into careers to help support your choice of subjects but to choose the right pathway you need an idea of what you want to be doing in the future. But if you are not sure of a pathway, don’t worry. Choosing subjects that you enjoy or want to try as a new experience can help focus your career options for the future as you discover what they can lead you to in the future.

Below are our pathways and some examples of the types of job roles that fall within them. Click on the pathway link to take you to the subjects we recommend for following that route.
