Continued success at Warwickshire’s only Sixth Form College

King Edward VI College in Nuneaton has had another successful year following the publication of A-level and vocational results today.  This year has seen the first set of fully linear results following the biggest change to A-levels in twenty years making them even more rigorous for students.  The college pass rate was 95% with 11 A-level courses achieving a pass rate of 100%.  16 of the A-level courses had a third of their students achieve a high grade. Almost every vocational qualification had a 100% pass rate.  The success of students at this inclusive sixth form college has ensured that most have gained places at the University of their choice.

Deputy Principal Tim Rogers said, “The College is really pleased with the set of A-level and vocational results published today.  Our students have worked hard to achieve their results allowing them to reach their potential and move onto their destination of choice.  Our excellent college teams have worked together over the last few years to ensure all of our students have the best opportunities to achieve their qualifications.  These results demonstrate the college continues to provide high quality education to students in Nuneaton, Coventry and South West Leicestershire.”
