Taster Days

We’re so excited to announce our Taster Days, which will be held on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th June.

Taster Days are a great way to experience college life, meet new friends and have fun!

Here’s what to expect:

-Subject tasters (you’ll be able to try different subjects)
-Skills Link Fair (where you can learn more about the exciting activities available)
-Bouncy Castle
-Popcorn (because its free!)
-Penalty Shoot Out
-High Striker (test your strength!)
-Table Tennis
-Juice Bar
-The Canteen will be open for your favourite food & drinks (including our specialist coffee brand ‘200 Degrees Coffee’)

Key Information

You are required to attend one of the dates above of your choice.  All applicants will receive an email on Wednesday 14 June to access a booking system to book onto your subjects.

Arrival time: 9:00am (access is via our main entrance, report to your Welcome Meeting room – sent via email on Friday 23 June)
End time: 4:00pm
Location: King Edward Road, Nuneaton, CV11 4BE

Plan your day

What will the timetable look like? –  Each day will consist of 5 individual sessions to taste your subjects, you do not need to book a subject for all 5 sessions.
How many subjects can I select? – We advise you choose at least 3 subjects to sample.  You can look at subjects you haven’t previously applied for.

Notes for booking subjects & Sports Performance Academy

-Some subjects are repeated in several sessions
-Subjects only available on one day Monday-French & Drama, Tuesday-Politics & Philosophy and Ethics
-Subjects marked with an (*) are only available in one session
-The Sports Performance Academy has an information session in Session 3

How to book your day

You will receive an email on Wednesday 14 June with a link to the booking system.  The booking system being used is Eventbrite, ensure that you select the date you would like to attend and book on to each subject session.  Once you submit your order you will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite. By clicking View and Manage your order online, you will see the subjects and times you have booked.

-Free sessions will give you the opportunity to get more information about Skills Link, Sports Performance Academies and Student Support~
-Anyone wanting to take advantage of the free bus from the Kingsbury area will need to choose Monday.  Emails regarding our bus services will be from Kathy Moss, please ensure you check your junk emails.
