Jacqui Clements – (Chair) Community Governor

Jacqui is an experienced charity Chief Executive with considerable experience in charity strategy and governance, HR practices, change management and organisational development. She is a Director of Jacqui Clements Consulting Ltd where she supports third sector organisations with capacity building, transformation,governance and strategy work.She was the Chief Executive of Warwick SU for 11 years having previously been the HR Director for 10 years. By virtue of that role she was also the Chair of the Board of Directors of Membership Solutions Ltd having been involved in MSL since its inception in 2004 and a Director of the SU’s trading subsidiary. Jacqui has previous experience in the commercial retail sector, working for Marks and Spencers for 15 years as well as involvement in higher and further education.
She is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD (since 2004) and completed a Masters degree in Voluntary Sector Management at CASS Business School in 2016 where she completed a research project for her looking at the extent to which the student movement could learn from its experiences in increasing the numbers of women in senior staff leadership roles in order to increase the number of BAME senior staff in SU’s. Her undergraduate degree is in Management Studies and French.
In addition to her passion for learning and development, she is the vice chair of governors at King Edward VI College in Nuneaton having been involved for 12 years.She is the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Coventry Students’ Union. Jacqui was a trustee for NUS Charitable services from 2017 to 2019.
