Open Event 2023

Our Open events are an excellent opportunity for you to come and visit us. An access all areas event for potential applicants to come and discover KE6 and find out all we have to offer.

At an Open Event you will be able to:
-Learn about life at KE6
-Meet staff and students
-Explore our facilities including our new W Building – home to our Creative Arts courses
-Discover our courses and pathways
-Find out about how we support our students
-Information on how to apply and the application process

Opening times for each site and subject location

W BUILDING – 4:30pm – 6:00pm
Subjects: Film Studies, Media Studies, Drama, Photography, and Music Technology.
Access to this site via the Ropewalk Shopping Centre will be from 4:30pm with final entry at 6:00pm. Please be aware that Ropewalk closes at 6:00pm and exit from W Building after this time will be via an exit into Queens Road (there will be no entry after 6:00pm). The Creative Arts hub will be showcasing their subjects and facilities with an open invitation to view – no booking necessary.

MAIN SITE – 4:30pm – 7:30pm

Principal’s Presentation
Our Principal, Stuart Noss will be presenting some essential information and highlighting the advantages of studying at KE6. Following the presentation you will be free to tour the college at your leisure. All presentation times are on the college main site at King Edward Road.

You will need to book a place for the Principal’s presentation which will be on the main site at:
5:15pm & 6:00pm
. Booking is via Eventbrite at footer of page.

Whilst we highly recommend that you attend one of the Principal’s presentations it is not compulsory and you are welcome to attend the event and visit subject areas anytime within the advertised times.

Parking and other important information
KE6 is a dual site college. The main site houses a majority of our courses, and W Building (entrance via the Ropewalk Shopping Centre in Nuneaton town centre, CV11 5TZ).

The Creative Arts hub will be showcasing their subjects and facilities with an open invitation to view – no booking necessary.

Parking: No onsite parking is available.
Please use pay-and-display parking in Wheat Street – CV11 4BS, Justice Walk – CV11 4AL or Church Street – CV11 4AS. Alternatively Sainsburys is a 5 minute walk away from the College and have kindly agreed free parking for maximum of 2 hours in their car park (please be aware this car park has number plate recognition in place with a two our max stay, anything over this will incur a penalty charge).
