Oxbridge Applicants

The aim of this activity is to Introduce potential Oxford or Cambridge University applicants students to typical appication procedures and our own college system regarding advice on personal statements, interview practice, critical thinking work. This will give you a head start if you are hoping to make an application early on in your second year at the college.

What should students aim to achieve by the end of the course?

We are aiming to ensure that a higher % of applicants who have taken part in this LinC activity will be invited for Oxbridge interviews and be subsequently offered a place. Even if you are unsuccessful, you should have a higher chance of achieving a place at another high ranking university of your choice.

Why should students select this LinC programme?

You will improve your communication, critical thinking and reflection skills. These skills are essential for all university applicants and also for a range of employment opportunities.

What employability opportunities would this LinC programme offer?
