Stress Busters

Each lesson students will explore a different relaxation or calming method. For example, a guided YouTube breathing exercise. I will review these in advance for suitability. We will also discuss and evaluate the experience. We will also discuss the importance of good sleep patterns, nutrition and other self-care strategies.

What should students aim to achieve by the end of the course?

Awareness of simple self-help methods which can be used to reduce stress, improve sleep, and boost physical and emotional wellbeing.

Why should students select this LinC programme?

We live in a busy and stressful world. We are often left to manage stress single-handedly. Poorly managed stress can affect sleep, concentration, and emotional wellbeing. Students who are aware of strategies to manage stress will be able to cope better with academic and career challenges.

What employability opportunities would this LinC programme offer?

We will review some of the opportunities for employment in the wellbeing industry, and how to use anti-stress methods to improve our performance in exams, interviews, and when facing challenges at work and elsewhere.
