On Wednesday 15th March, Drama students from King Edward VI College embarked on a theatre experience to London’s West End for three nights.
On the first day we saw the critically acclaimed show ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time’, an exciting fusion of movement and drama, exploring the unique world of Christopher on his journey to find his Mother. On day two we had a thrilling back stage tour of the National Theatre, a true delight to see how all of the magic happens back stage. That same evening we saw the much beloved ‘Les Miserables’ at the renowned Queens Theatre, an emotive musical spectacle.
On our last day we had a West End acting workshop at the famous Pineapple Studios, it was here that we had a surprise visit from Simon Gleeson, the principal actor from Les Miserable, Jean Valjean. A truly inspirational experience.
