ProPortal is an online site where you can view information relating to student enrolments and progress. You can view progress and skills grades, attendance, support levels, comments and meetings. It replaces traditional ‘school reports’ with information that is updated daily. You can also update student information like contact numbers, emails and address. You can see the student’s timetable and meeting notes with their Progress Coach. It allows you to join us in supporting the student through their time at college.
Attendance and Comments are shown on the home page, as well as in more detail in the Meetings and Comments tab and the Learner ILP tab (attendance).
CORE Skills Reviews Students who develop their CORE skills are more likely to achieve higher grades. We give a termly update on the degree to which these skills are being demonstrated. This can be found in the Information tab.
Progress Grades can be found in the markbook for each subject under the code MPG and the date they were expected to be entered. This is in Information → Markbook Information.
More information about the above grades and data entry dates is here
The name of your son’s/daughter’s Progress Coach will also be listed should you have any serious concerns you would like to discuss with them as a first point of contact with the college. The Progress Coach can be contacted by telephone on 02476 328231.
