Careers Speed Networking Event

On Wednesday 29th November seven students went over to Coventry for a Careers Speed Networking Event that the Careers and Enterprise Company, in conjunction with the Coventry and Warwickshire LEP Growth Hub and the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership, held as part of the Coventry and Warwickshire Business Festival. This was a fantastic opportunity to network with apprentices, employees and managers from local industry.

This is what the students had to say about the event:

“Today was very beneficial towards my plans for the future and has changed what I’ve been thinking of doing for the better.”

“Throughout the afternoon I spoke to many people varying from managers at Aston Martin to people working for the government in schools and colleges. Talking with various people made me realise the amount of options there are for post 18 and for me to consider. Would strongly advise everyone to take part in this event, even if you know what you want to do in the future.”
