Principal
As an experienced educator, my passion is developing people of all ages, through positive, supportive, and developmental approaches. I am proud to work in an organisation that seeks to be deliberately developmental and champions a progressive approach to delivering a student centred, 21st century educational experience. As a historian (my original subject), I am proud to be one of the current custodians of King Edward’s and work tirelessly to uphold the values and standards of this historic college. As a moderniser in education, I am driven to bring new perspectives and ideas to our organisation that takes it forward into the future as a sector defining institution.
As Principal at KE6, I lead the strategic direction of the college and hold responsibility for the overall performance of the college. I also fulfil an external facing role, working with public and private sector organisations to develop and grow our mutual collaboration. I am a relentless champion for the amazing work all the people in our college community do. I believe passionately in our mission, vision and values and work every day to promote a positive and supportive college environment that helps everyone all to gain the skills they need to thrive and have remarkable impact in the world.
As a member of the Better Future Multi-Academy Trust I sit on the Executive Team, overseeing the work of the strategic work of the Trust. I also work with the student domain of the MAT, focusing on how we support, grow and develop our students, their agency and voice, as well as their leadership across all our colleges. It’s a privilege to get to come to work each day and engage with such talented and hardworking people, and ensuring our students have a central and active role in our community.

Deputy Principal
As an educator, my passion is in supporting the development of people and, working in a organisation that seeks to be deliberately developmental, student and staff growth is a priority for me. I believe strongly in a positive coaching culture and supporting people from all walks of life to become the best version of themselves possible.
As Deputy Principal at KE6, I lead the Strategic Leadership Team, alongside the Principal, and hold responsibility for all day to day running of the college. I have a relentless focus on high quality teaching and learning, am a champion for ‘Our Attributes’ and ensure student and staff welfare is at the core of what we do. I believe passionately in our mission, vision and values and work every day to promote a positive and supportive college environment that helps everyone to gain the skills they need to thrive and have remarkable impact in the world.

Anne-Marie
Assistant Principal
As the Assistant Principal for Student Journey, I collaborate closely with the Progress Leads to ensure that the College remains a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every student feels respected and valued. This involves actively addressing bullying, promoting equality and diversity, and fostering a culture of inclusivity. I also work alongside the Specialist Support Leader to ensure that students with additional learning needs receive the tailored support they require. Additionally, I monitor student attendance and engagement, addressing barriers such as chronic absenteeism or lack of motivation to ensure that all students can succeed academically.

Nicky
Assistant Principal
An accomplished education professional with over 22 years of experience at King Edward VI College. Beginning as a part-time administrator, I steadily progressed through key leadership roles, including Exam Officer, Corporate Services Leader, and HR Manager. Now serving as Assistant Principal, Corporate Services, I play a pivotal role in overseeing HR, Estates, Exams, College Services, Admin/Reception Services, and GDPR, while also providing indirect oversight of Finance, Payroll, and IT. With a deep understanding of operational efficiency and strategic planning, I am dedicated to enhancing college services and ensuring excellence across all corporate functions.

Community Leader
After spending over 20 years in professional football, I transitioned into education and have been at KE6 for the past two years. I lead the Student Development, Community Team and Route 2 programme, focusing on creating meaningful opportunities for students to grow both academically and personally.
My experience in professional sport has shaped my approach to teamwork, culture, and leadership—values I now embed into my work at KE6. I’m passionate about ensuring every student has access to the right pathways for success, whether through education, sport, or community engagement.

People Leader
I’ve worked at KE6 for over 10 years, primarily teaching English. In my role as College People Lead, I oversee CPD for staff, work on our leadership development programmes, and promote excellent teaching, learning and assessment. I also co-ordinate the Extended Project (EPQ) and Higher Project (HPQ) qualifications.

Maninder
Impact Leader
My role is curriculum focused, I lead on Level 3 courses across the college. I also oversee quality processes such as deep dives, subject reviews, and improvements that we aim to implement each year to support forward momentum towards our college-wide goals.
