Mobolanle Oshin – Parent Governor

Mobolanle Oshin is a dedicated educator and experienced professional with over a decade of teaching Science at secondary schools and significant expertise as a Software QA Engineer. Currently, she is a Teacher of Science at The Nuneaton Academy, delivering engaging lessons in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics to KS3 and KS4 students. Her teaching career is marked by curriculum development, instructional technology integration, and mentorship of fellow educators.

In addition to her educational role, Mobolanle has experience in software testing, contributing to significant software projects. She has demonstrated excellence in Agile and Scrum methodologies, manual and functional testing, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality software solutions.

Mobolanle holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of Suffolk, a Bachelors in Microbiology from the University of Lagos, and a PGCE with QTS from Birmingham City University. She has also completed certifications in website development and software testing, showcasing her passion for educational technology and innovation.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Mobolanle has entrepreneurial experience, successfully managing and growing a private school for 15 years. Her interests include digital business development, cooking, baking, and exploring new educational ideas. As a parent governor she brings a unique perspective, combining her expertise in education, technology, and leadership to support the college’s mission of fostering excellence.
