The aim of this group is to introduce potential Oxford and Cambridge University applicants students to typical application procedures and our own college system regarding advice on personal statements, interview practice, critical thinking work. This will give you a head start if you are hoping to make an application to either university.
You will improve your communication, critical thinking and reflection skills. These skills are essential for all university applicants and also for a range of employment opportunities.
We are aiming to ensure that a higher % of applicants who have taken part in this Enrichment will be invited for Oxbridge interviews and be subsequently offered a place. Even if you are unsuccessful, you should have a higher chance of achieving a place at another high ranking university of your choice.
We aim to take a a trip to an Oxbridge college, and we will also be having guest speakers (often from former students who have been successful in an Oxbridge university).
