Year 12 & 13 students visit Digital & Technology Careers Event

On Thursday 9th November 2017 a number of year 12 and 13 students form King Edwards VI College in Nuneaton, had the fantastic opportunity to visit a Digital & Technology Careers Event organised by Tata Consultancy Services in inner Birmingham. The day consisted of a series of workshops designed for students to openly engage in a number of consultancy and work related subjects. The students also had an opportunity to speak to, interact and ask questions with entrepreneurs who advised and spoke about key qualities employers are looking for in today’s work place. On the day TATA consultancy services were on the lookout for students who were particularly engaged, asking questions and showing their entrepreneurial skills. On the day there were 3 amazon kindle fire 7s as prizes to give away. One of our own students Alex Sutton from Nuneaton was awarded the prize as he was very vocal during the group activites, worked well with others and really represented the college ethos and culture. Well done Alex.
