Ellie Jones – Community Governor

Ellie is proud to serve as a Community Governor at KE6, a college that has played a significant role in her own educational journey as a former student. Having also worked within the Better Futures Multi-Academy Trust, she brings a strong understanding of the Trust’s values and a commitment to supporting its continued success. As a practising maths teacher, she is passionate about education and the opportunities it can create for young people.

A key focus of Ellie’s work is championing student voice. She strongly believes that students should feel heard, valued and empowered to shape their own experiences, and she is committed to ensuring their perspectives inform decision-making at all levels. Her passion lies in supporting the College to provide an inclusive, aspirational environment where every student can thrive. By combining her professional experience with her personal connection to KE6, she aims to contribute positively to the ongoing development of the College and its community.
