Josef McCauley – Community Governor

Josef is an alumnus of the College. Having progressed from the College to the University of Warwick and into a professional role within higher education, he is proud to support the College community and contribute to its continued success.
Josef currently works as Student Voice Coordinator at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David Students’ Union (London Campus), where he works with students, academic staff and senior leaders to strengthen student representation, support academic quality processes and ensure that student perspectives inform decision-making across the University. He graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class honours degree in Sociology, specialising in Technologies and Markets. Throughout his studies and professional experience, Josef has developed experience in governance, student representation, stakeholder engagement and academic quality enhancement. He has worked closely with student leaders, course representatives and senior university staff to ensure that student feedback contributes meaningfully to institutional decision-making and the continuous improvement of the student experience.
Passionate about education and social mobility, Josef believes that every young person should have access to the opportunities, encouragement and support needed to fulfil their potential. As a first-generation university graduate, he understands the transformative impact that education can have on individuals, families and communities.
