Why study Mathematics – GCSE?

This course is compulsory for anyone who achieved a grade 3 or less in GCSE. Additionally, anyone wants to improve their grade can take this course.

We will cover the topics required at Foundation GCSE to give you access to a grade 4 or grade 5

There will be a mixture of teacher explanation and also student paired or group work. We will assess regularly so that you are aware of your progress and areas for development.

GCSE maths grade 4 is considered a standard pass and as such is an access qualification for many courses / careers and apprenticeships. Some universities are asking for grade 5. It is wise to check the requirements of the institution or training course you are hoping to go on to.
