Why study Engineering (Level 2)?
This skills-focused course is tailored for students who are keen to understand the mathematical and scientific demands of a level 3 Engineering course. You will develop mathematical skills and apply them to areas such as forces, uniform acceleration and electricity.
Who should apply?
Perfect for students who are interested in taking engineering next year. If you have a grade 4 at GCSE maths and take the course successfully then we will recommend you for level 3 Engineering. Please note, students with grade 4 GCSE maths will not be accepted onto level 3 Engineering unless they have done the Access to Engineering course.
Students may go on to Level 3 Engineering, although this course also prepares students for Applied Science and Electronics.
